Our department is dedicated to equipping students with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in the dynamic field of human resources. We believe that effective management of an organization’s most valuable asset—its people—is essential for achieving success and maintaining a competitive edge in today’s business landscape.

The objective of training in Human Resource Management (HRM) is to develop the knowledge, skills, and competencies of individuals in various aspects of HRM to effectively manage and support the organization’s human capital. The specific objectives of HRM training may include:

  1. Enhancing HRM Knowledge: The training aims to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of HRM principles, theories, and best practices. It covers areas such as recruitment and selection, training and development, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and HR policies and procedures.

  2. Developing HRM Skills: HRM training focuses on developing practical skills necessary for HR professionals to carry out their roles effectively. This includes skills such as conducting interviews, managing employee performance, resolving conflicts, implementing HR programs, analyzing HR metrics, and utilizing HR technology and systems.

  3. Promoting HRM Competencies: Training aims to develop the core competencies required for HR professionals to excel in their roles. This may include competencies such as effective communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, strategic thinking, leadership, teamwork, and ethical behavior.

  4. Supporting HR Strategy: HRM training aligns with the organization’s strategic goals and objectives. It aims to equip HR professionals with the knowledge and skills to contribute to the development and implementation of HR strategies that support the overall business strategy.   • Scan-copy of ID Card
  • Equivalence of any foreign certificate/Diploma
  • Scan-copy of Grade Report/transcript of first year for students integrating into second year
  • A folder with your name and department
  • Digital passport size photo shall be taken by FPU upon registration

NB: Applicants must have passed in the GCE A/Level/ in at least two (2) subjects, or equivalent
