Fomic Polytechnic, founded in 2011, is a Private Higher Institute accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education of Cameroon and mentored by the University of BUEA and the University of Bamenda. There are Four Schools (Faculties) in the Polytechnic; the School of Business, the School of Engineering, the School of Medical and Biomedical Sciences & School of Agriculture with campuses in Buea and Douala.

The Insititute seek to teach people who are looking forward in improving their communication skills and acting as shield for children from the francophone background who want to study in English.
